My 2025 Challenge: Getting Back on Track
Two years ago, I found myself stressed, gaining weight, and feeling unhappy. I knew something had to change. So, last year, I committed to a macro-based diet and started weight training. The results were incredible—I lost weight, built muscle, and felt better than ever.
But then, life threw a curveball.

In the latter part of the year, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. After her surgery, everything felt overwhelming. I stopped exercising, quit tracking my food, and turned to drinking as a coping mechanism. My healthy habits disappeared.

Then, New Year’s 2024 hit, and with it, Influenza A. Those two weeks were some of the worst of my life—physically drained, stressed from work, and unexpectedly losing five pounds. Thankfully, my mom is now doing amazing, but despite that relief, I’ve struggled to regain my motivation. Waking up for workouts? Skipped. Daily walks? Ignored.
I had a strong January—no alcohol, healthy eating, and a solid routine. But February? Not so much. That’s why I’m setting this challenge for myself:
✅ Exercise regularly
✅ Eat healthy and track my macros
✅ No alcohol—no exceptions
This won’t be a daily update (let’s be real, that’s too much for me), but I’ll be sharing my progress weekly. I’ll track my weight, workout consistency, and how many days I hit my macros.

This challenge isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up for myself and getting back on track. Here’s to a healthier, stronger 2025!
If you’re in the same boat, let’s do this together. 💪
